Privacy

A status certificate package is full of other people's information: the owner's name, the directors, what the unit owes. Status Brief is built to keep as little of it as possible, for as short a time as possible.

Your PDF

The file you upload goes to a private storage area that is not reachable from the web. When you pay, it is read once and then deleted. If you upload a file and do not pay, it is deleted within three hours. We never keep a copy of the package.

Your brief

The brief is kept at a private link so you can come back to it and share it with your agent or lawyer. Anyone with the link can see it, so share it the way you would share the certificate itself. Briefs are deleted automatically after 30 days, and you can delete yours sooner with the Delete button on the brief. The brief is told not to copy the names of private individuals from the package.

If you leave your email

Until card payments open, you can leave your email to hear when they do. We keep the address, and your answer to “I am” if you gave one, in the same private storage. We use it only for that one message and to understand who the service is for. It is never sold or shared, and you can ask us to delete it.

Who processes it

• Vercel hosts the site and stores files and briefs.
• Anthropic reads the package through its API (the Claude model). The copy sent for reading is deleted from Anthropic's file storage as soon as the reading is done, and Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
• Stripe handles payment. We never see your card number. Stripe may ask for your email address to send a receipt.

These providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States.

Visit counts

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you. There are no advertising trackers on this site.
